First-Ever Legal Challenge to Fetal Pain Law in ID
In Idaho, Jennie Linn McCormack filed a first-ever lawsuit in a nation severe a state’s “fetal pain” law, that bans abortions in a state after 20 weeks gestation. McComark, observant a miss of permitted termination providers for women in southeast Idaho, contends that Idaho’s law unconstitutionally restricts women in a segment from accessing termination services. Wade decision, that allows women to obtain termination services until fetal viability during 22-24 weeks
